Let’s get you applying.

Open Karmik. After a brief “Starting Karmik” splash, you’ll land on the sign-in screen. Sign in the same way you did on the website:

1. Tap Continue with Google. A browser window opens, you pick your Google account, then come back to the app. It’ll say “Finish in your browser” while it waits.
2. Or use your email and password and press Log In.

Karmik checks your subscription automatically, and since you’re subscribed you’ll go straight through. (No account yet on a device? Everyone signs up at karmik.ai first; the app is sign-in only.)

This is My details in the menu. Karmik uses these answers on every application: your name, contact, location, the roles you want, and the questions Seek asks on almost every job (work rights, experience, licence, availability, and so on).

You’ve got two shortcuts:

1. Press Sync from Karmik (or Pull from Karmik on first run) to pull the profile you already built on the website. It only fills blanks, so it won’t overwrite anything you’ve typed.
2. Or answer the short guided wizard: 16 quick questions, one at a time. Anything marked optional can be skipped.

On the Run automation screen you’ll see a Resume section. Press Upload resume and pick your file. PDF, DOCX, or TXT all work. Once it’s in, the filename shows with a Replace button if you ever want to swap it.

A resume is required, so the run buttons stay greyed out until one is attached. Karmik reads it to tailor your cover letters and answers.

Karmik works inside a real Seek session, your own. You log in once, in a browser window Karmik opens, and it remembers you for weeks. On the run screen, find Seek session and press Save session. A window titled Save your Seek session explains it, then:

1. Press Open Seek. A Chrome window opens at seek.com.au.
2. Sign in to your Seek account in that window.
3. Wait for your Seek dashboard to finish loading.
4. Come back to Karmik and click I have logged in.

When it reads Session ready with a green tick, you’re connected. There’s a small Re-save button for later, if you ever need to refresh it.

Three simple controls on the run screen shape how a run behaves:

1. Jobs to apply to: how many to apply to in one run. Default is 10 (you can set 1 to 200). Start around 10 to 20 while you get a feel for it.
2. Auto-submit applications: on by default. Karmik submits each application for you. Turn it off if you’d rather it pause on Seek’s review page so you can hit submit yourself.
3. Keep computer awake while running: on by default. Stops your Mac dozing off mid-run so a batch finishes cleanly. Leave it on.

This is the one. Full run does everything in a single pass: it finds fresh quick-apply jobs that match you, writes a tailored cover letter for each, and applies. A short “here’s what to expect” card appears. Press Got it, start.

If Seek ever asks you to sign in during the run, a prompt shows in the app. Log in inside the Chrome window, then click Continue. Otherwise, sit back and watch it work (next section).
